Hi, I'm Officer BO
I’m a former college athlete turned community-builder and law enforcement professional. After earning a full football scholarship and graduating from Washington State University, I found my purpose not on the field—but in the streets of Austin, Texas—bridging the gap between youth and police.
My mission is simple: create real change in how law enforcement and young people see and interact with each other. I’ve trained officers, mentored youth, and facilitated tough but necessary conversations. And I’ve been recognized for it—from commendations by national organizations to feedback from kids who’ve said, “I didn’t trust cops—until I met you.”
This isn’t just a job for me. It’s personal. I’m here to disrupt the cycle, shift the culture, and bring optimism into the lives of kids who’ve been written off or overlooked. I believe change is possible—and it starts with one honest, human conversation at a time.
"He is an expert at reading a situation, sensing what’s said and left unsaid, and responding in a manner that is respectful and educational.”
